spearmen using stakes?

Hi, i was trying to add stakes to a spearmen unit by adding "stakes" to thier attributes in the EDU text file but they still dont have the stakes available before battle. i then tried removing the "schiltrom" attribute but there was no success there either.

please help

ermm, you're in the RTW modding questions section and 'stakes' as a unit attribute only exists in M2TW

you've either posted in wrong place - or answer is you are trying to incorporate something that won't work in RTW anyway.

you need to read the last bit of the readme from the unpacker, basicly just need to make the game read your modded files

"iirc", the simplest method is to just add "-io.file_first" after the command line in the desktop shortcut
