You can remove the files you haven't changed if you use --io.file_first instead of the mod switch. I also recommend using a filter when using the unpacker.

Your unpacker's target line should read something like that, except with your m2tw folders changed to the way they are in your installation.
I have try to do so , but it didn't work....can you tell me exactly where to insert the filter : for instance if I only want to extract --filter=export_descr_unit.txt or even better a folder like unit_models
unpacker.exe --source=..\..\mods\british_isles\packs\*.pack --destination=..\..\ --verbosity=1 --base_pack_path=mods/british_isles/data/
Are you sure I can delete all the other folder that I didn't mod inside DATA ?
My shortcut is like this :
"C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\kingdoms.exe" --features.mod=mods/british_isles --io.file_first
thanks
you can stick the --filter= after british_isles/data/, remember to put a space first. I have found that some times files won't extract even though the path is correct, such as trying to get stuff out of attachmentsets, so I would recommend putting the file you want in "" to make sure you get it.
Ok ; I know it now for the next time ...![]()
Is it possible to remove the files in the DATA folder I didn't use after extracting all of them with the extractor... Because now that I have my txt file moded I don't need 1Go of dead space
