    Default Advanced pastorialism for Pahlava

I was just wondering what specific buildings you need in a settlement to get advanced pastorialism while playing as Pahlava? or is it you need to take certain settlements of old persia like hayasdan? Anyways I ask this because the pahlava building tree file looks confusing to me!

Did you read the legend? Did you understand what means the full lines and the trace lines and the numbers? If so, you should have no trouble understanding the requirements.

Let me know what confuses you and I'll try to clear it out for you.

Yes I did read the legend. so do you just need the pastorialism(of course) and a large nomad market but I was wondering if there was anymore requirements then this.

You made a wrong reading of the file. Look inside the spoiler:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The Reformed Pastoralism building is an upgrade from the Pastoralism, and it needs, additionally, the following conditions:

    - Settled Community (or higher level) building must be present [full arrow that comes from number 2 (dark green)]

    - Nomad Market (or higher level) building must be present [full arrow that comes from number 9 (light green)]

    - Specific Regions marked by the hidden_resource pahlavahome [gray H circle in the lower left side]

Since the hidden_resources are not visible, you can achieve the requirements on buildings, but the option to build a Reformed Pastoralism may not come. With experience you will know which 21 regions are allowed to build it.

If you want to get technical and "kickstart" the experience he talks about, you can look in descr_regions.txt.

thanks guys for your help. I just got advanced pastorialism in Persis and am now waiting to build the gov building. In my campaign I took out Bactria and Saka and am now beseiging Ekbatana. what threw me off was the pitiful defense the seleucids had for their eastern provinces, they sent virtually no stacks at me while I was taking their settlements. once again thanks for your help!
