You cant really compare EB or even RTW vanilla to AOE II, They are too different.
Even so AOE II is still fun to play every so often, when i get bored waiting for EB 1.0 haha. There are some good designers in Ensemble Studios... Well there were.

I had always assumed the Casse being at peace with the Eletheroui was a minor mistake by the team, I guess I should have known better.
