Lemur, you've never seen a proper map of Texas is all. In their efforts to put in enough detail about the center of the meaningful universe (Texas) some other bits were a little distorted -- similar to the thing with Greenland covering half the map in the old flat projections. So, you see, Strike's labeling is good enough from a Texan perspective.
