Awesome!!! I can get to RTW yet again...to spend many more hours on it. You guys officially rock (that's a direct quote from Cpt. Obvious )

    A question though:
    Fixed reforms:
Reforms for factions have been fixed. This includes a Carthaginian reform adding heavier units to their roster...
When do those reforms come? I've jsut started a campaign as the Carths (just 'cause I love the unit skins) and I want that heavy infantry pronto

    Yay!

I got it working and so far have tried 3 campaigns, saka(which i played on easy and still find 'nigh impossible'), epeiros, and Lusitana, which is brilliant. Love the new indian units!

Just posting here to say thank you where a simple thank you is woefully inadequate!

Great job guys and looking forward to many many sleepless nights on 1.0

Thank God I'm already divorced or this would certainly have pushed it over the edge

I've been playing at least four hours a day since release and I've just realised that I haven't had a single CTD. Well done guys.

Thank you EB team for dedication and endless hours spent in making this beautifull mod.

I was great fan of TW series, but vanilla RTW lost me after a few hours. However EB managed to awake interest in anciet period in my till this time horse and musket orientated mind.

    Now to my Aedui campaign.

I'm afraid you need a working disc to play it

Hello all! I was wondering if the load times for this have improved over v0.81? It would take forever for that to load on my computer which is why I have been stuck with playing Rome: Total Realism all summer. My computer is a AMD dual-core rated at 3.33 GHz.

So far I find v1.0 to be slower, I had no problem with v0.81.
Even though I find loading the game and the AI turns slow, EBv1.0 is certainly worth it.

There is a patch/file to download at the EB website that has the standard sky on the campaign map, instead of the new one with clouds in it. Installing the old one may well quicken things up.

Hmmm, I can't seem to find the file for the vanilla sky/clouds. I did find the one for the vanilla sea though.

What graphics card do you have and how much RAM?
I have a similar CPU to yours with 1gb RAM and a Radeon X1300 pro and 0.81 absolutely flew for me, I never had any problems with loading times apart from when starting the game up. 1.0 is noticably slower, the AI turns can take a while, personally I don't mind but if 0.81 was slow on yours 1.0 would probably crawl.

I have a ATI xpress card that's integrated (I use a notebook). It's 256 MB but since it's integrated it's not as great as a desktop card. Although I recently got World in Conflict and that works just fine.
I have 1.0 GHz of RAM and I use Windows Vista.
