So, in light of this most terrible catastrophe, our GameMaster, a most noble and well advised man, has chosen MiRC to host our Council.
But, be not rushed to download this device until we have tested it!
And it will be tested, as I will be, most assuredly, discussing and finishing our laws within the next few hours.
When we have completed these things, we will report here both our constitution, and our opinion of the MiRC channel.

There are some other things I will discuss in the public eye here, but later.
And, as a token announcement, you will be most pleased with the idea Sassem, of his own accord and initiative, has planned for our game!
He has exerted his creativity, and founded it well in several projects for the benefit of our games!
So be not in haste to denounce his accidental errors, please!

Wait! I have found, to my resentment, that mIRC seems to be a "Try before you Buy" offer!
This cannot be allowed in our Senate, as we have a great expenditure on things both military and civil, and cannot be giving mnai for the maintenance of our podium also!
I must be gone for now, but I will await further details from our CultMaster before downloading.

Spoofa,your mod works perfectly now.So we will be using mIrc.I don't want to

j/k.The evalatiion copy is only 30 days and i spend all my cash on books.This also seems to be much more complicated.I liked x-fire more...

MIRC's free.... sept it bugs the crap out of you everytime you start it up after the first 30 days.

mIRC is out...I'm not going to require a program that will require someone to pay $20.

That being said, if X-Fire proves too unstable (as it has recently....the chat rooms freeze), we may just be forced to do away with live council meetings.

It is unfortunate, but may be unavoidable, as a council meeting with everyone having 20 ims up is just ridiculously hard to manage and foolishly complex.

I'm glad the issue with the mod has been resolved.

It's essentially a dynamic building browser for all cities in the empire....once its complete. Sassem wanted me to stress that this was an early draft, and the template may change, but things like this will be made available so players who aren't Shophet will have a better understanding of what's going on.

EDIT: We're looking into other methods of providing our players with a stable, free live chat room. It may be a temporary X-Fire issue, but it is something that can't happen if 10+ players meet online to discuss things...
