Don't worry, Pez...I'm glad you didn't get woken up....it was somewhat chaotic. It's fine though.

I may revise a few things regarding proposals, control of land, who controls recruitment etc.

I'm trying to find a balance between playability for the Shophet and interactivity for those who are just playing along.

I'm thinking of making a 2 proposal - per - province limit or something similiar to this, so as to prevent similiar things from happening in the future (I fear our young Boru may have not only felt a little overwhelmed, but also a little unclear as what to do).

It is not an easy thing, really. I'm glad we've encountered these things before are game began.

That being said, the First Term may be put back a few days, with a revised constitution being introduced which may put a limit on how many props are allowed, although I may attempt to give more control to individual governors, so that it feels more like a republic.

To be honest, I am STRONGLY in favor of allowing governors control over their cities forces, which so many seemed to be against when the fiery Hanno said he would not contribute forces to any war effort in Syracousai. I think it is easily represented in-game (if the gov says no troops for this or that, then no troops for this or that).

That being said, I'll likely not include such things because, as others have said, a huge fight could end our game (although it would add a new element to the cooperation of provinces IMO).

Hmmm, lots to say. I think the system we currently have will work well enough, given a few small constitutional amendments.

I think I've alread figured out how to resolve the issues raised today.
