Pez, the position of Hanno shall go to you....as Leao Magno and Wolfman are the only others active enough to warrant the position and they would both prefer to remain senators IIRC.
The entire situation with Glenn was unfortunate, but it's a loss we shall deal with. He was too moody for my tastes....the dude never wanted to fool around and have fun, like on X-Fire for instance. That was the entire point of starting this game, to get to know people and enjoy strategic discussion and whatnot. Nothing more, nothing less.
I dunno if dude realizes this, but we aren't really senators and governors of ancient carthage. I'm all for roleplaying, and staying in-character, but I don't think anything concerning this succession game is worth getting bent out of shape about.
I'm generally a good judge of people....and my take on Glenn is that he is young, quick to judge entire continents of people and put them all in the same bag, and overflowing with intelligence but lacking the wisdom that only life experience can bring.
He can call me gay, incompetent, curse the fun of myself and others, and maintain threatening possessiveness of a make-believe character, as it just doesn't really bother me that much. I just don't understand why people have that 'if I can't have it, no one can' attitude....
Regardless, I wish him all of the best in his future endeavours, and am sorry that our relationship soured.
I won't lose any sleep over it though, as the dude basically said he hates me because I'm american.
I ask those who read along....who's the real brute here?
Using flowery words does not equate to civil behavior. Just because you can put words together nicely (most of the time anyways) doesn't mean you can say whatever you want to people.
He'll see it over time, or he'll be very lonely. Period.
