Same here, never noticed anything like that either, but then I turn the screen off together with the rest of the PC during the night or when I'm away for more than a few minutes.Originally Posted by Whacker

LCD's are meant to be immune, but then they don't take into account people like me who are on it for most of the day.
Anyway, the white screen appears to be working. Yesterday i could make out details on the burn such as buttons and stuff. Today i can only faintly see the address bar and a tiny bit of browser.
Much better!
Don't you ever play games in full screen mode? Do you leave it on over the night?![]()
I'm just curious, I also browse for extended periods of time etc but I can't even see an image of the windows taskbar, I looked for one yesterday when I played M&B but there was nothing that wasn't supposed to be there.
Sounds like a weird phenomenon but then I never had such burnt-in images on my old CRTs either.![]()

I'm unemployed, have a cushy life with my parents and have had 4 months of spare time in which to do very little.Originally Posted by Husar
In those 4 months i've come to the discovery that browsing the internet obsessively for 8 hours a day is not good for your monitor.
The thing that surprises me though is that my taskbar hasn't caused any screenburn. Makes no sense.
