The funny thing about that is(which I think is unfair), is that Boston had picked up a pitcher from Japan who has been playing in their professional baseball league and the media has labeled him as a rookie. Kinda dumb and a bit disrespectful if you ask me. Plus, a game between our Wold Series champion and Japan's. I think that would be cool to see.

Boo-yah!, the Tribe's mountain man draws first blood for the Tribe, now men on third and first!

    Go Indians!

EDIT (2:07) : ANOTHER HOMER! SIX RUNS! The inning isn't even over! We sent their starter packing and now we're having our way with the reliever! Lofton's on base!

EDIT: (again) Lofton steals, Base hit and Lofton scores!

^ right but they come here. Take Matsuzaka, in Japan he was the best but in America he's just among the best. America invented baseball and has, at least for now, a monopoly on it.

BTW- there's TWO other White Sox fans here? Damn. We should form the Kenny Williams Hate club and wallow in our misery

I hate to say this but the indians are gonna win. I like seeing the rockies successful but they are going to have to wait 8 days for another game and the team that gets in seconds has won at least the last three.(I dont feel like looking back any further).

Nah, if the bosox win the next game then the indians will only have won the last 1 game. I'm not sure why everyone thinks waiting 8 days is a disadvantage. It's not like they aren't going to be fired up.

8 days is long enough to take the concentration away from the team.

Indians are looking good.. Rockies are way too confident.

I guess, but I've read(mainly during WWII anyways) many times about the Japanese playing baseball while on garrison duty on pacific islands, so it has been really popular. Not trying to say that we are not the only ones, I'm just saying that we need to acknowledge that other nations have their own top professional leagues like Japan(kinda like our MLS to England's EPL).
