I believe one of the team members said there would be governors available for the empire as it was in Caesar's time, excluding Italy.

Hm, off the top of my head theres:

    Corsica et Sardinia
    Sicilia
    Africa Vetus
    Africa Nova
    Cyrenacia
    Hispania Ulterior
    Hispania Interior
    Gallia Comata
Gaul this side of the Alps
Gaul further side of the Alps
    Illyricum
    Macedonia
    Achaea
    Asia
    Cicilia
    Judea
    Aegyptus

might be a couple others too, I cant remember which all made it in.

In the future there will be others like Noricum, Cappadocia, etc.

wow thats amazing. but could you be a bit specific. for example if u want to be governer of sicily then u'll have to send your propraetor, proconsular, rector to syracuse. sardina et corsica i think he has to go to karali? what about the other provinces? i think this should be included in the faq otherwise the player won't know where to go.

Off the topic of my head, I remember you need the 3 cities in Sicily for governor of Sicily.

You need Corsica and Sardinia for another one. That's about all I remember.

thanks for the reply ice. i loved playing the romans before and now i am just crazy about them. but figuring out what provinces give what traits is going to be a prob. i've also noticed that you get an axcillary for the province that you govern but sometimes the character has 8 axcillaries stacked so u'll probably have to give away some of those axc to other characters. would it be a big problem to limit the number of axc a character could get to maybe lets say 6. that way u'll have two spare axc to use for the provinces. its just a suggestion i know its not very practical specially that the other factions don't get province specifec axc, but its just a suggestion.

well if anyone has any info about what other provinces give the provincial governer traits please post here. so far i've figured out syracuse (sicily), karali (corsica and sardina), carthage (old africa) and am still looking for the others :)

    cheers

    These are working fine:
    Governor of Sicily
    Governor of Corsica and Sardinia
    Governor of Africa Vetus
    Governor of Hispania Citerior
    Governor of Hispania Ulterior
    Governor of Gallia Narbonensis
    Governor of Macedonia
    Governor of Achaea
    Governor of Asia

    This isn't working:
    Governor of Gallia Cisalpina

Those i haven't had the chance to acquire:
    Governor of Bithynia
    Governor of Africa Nova
    Governor of Syria
    Governor of Judaea
    Governor of Gallia Comata
    Governor of Cyrenacia

Gallia Cisaplina is working. You receive the title in Bononia, I believe.

How sure are that that list is complete? Have you looked trough some files that EB has changed?

for some reason some of these ancillaries are easier to get than others, i think it should be straight forward so here is my question. to acquire the prov governor trait these are the conditions:

    Trigger acquire_Governor_of_Sicily_Syrakousai
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd
    Condition FactionType seleucid
    and EndedInSettlement
    and RemainingMPPercentage = 100
    and IsGeneral
    and SettlementName Syrakousai
    and I_SettlementOwner Messana = seleucid
    and I_SettlementOwner Lilibeo = seleucid
    and SettlementBuildingExists > gov4
    and SettlementBuildingExists < govparthian
    and Attribute Electability < 11
    and not FactionwideAncillaryExists Governor_of_Sicily

    AcquireAncillary Governor_of_Sicily Chance 100
    Affects NumAncillariesAcquired 1 Chance 100

    what are:
    and RemainingMPPercentage = 100 and
    and Attribute Electability < 11

cuz it sure does take a lot of time to get the Governor of Asia and Governor of Achaea. it took only a few turns to get the Governor of Sicily.

RemainingMPPercentage = remaining Movement Points Percentage. This is 100% if the character has not moved at all during the last turn.

Yesterday I gained my first Provincia ancillary in a quite odd way: after conquering Lilibeo I installed the usual regional pacification thingy so in Sicily I had a type 5 gov in Lilibeo, a type 4 in Syracuse and a type 3 in Messana. I thought that for gaining the ancillary at least a type 3 in evey city of the province was needed, but the next turn the governor in Messana got the ancillary and then the train. This is working as intended or a bug?
