Possible workaround to Mining Income bug?

I realise that the mining income displayed in-game is always wrong and is always automatically generated, and so can't be fixed (by modders, at least).

However, can you edit the actual text that comes before the number? At the moment, it's "Mining income" or "Income from mining" or something, but can it be altered?

Because if so, you could change it to "Gross mining income" or "Predicted mining income" or something similar, and then have "Net mining income" (or whatever) followed by the actual number below as the first line of the building description. You could then follow this up with an explanatory paragraph about corruption or expenses or some other such thing that explains why your mines aren't working to their full potential.

So...er...would that work?
