problem with type 4 government :(

First of all, I've been lurking here a long time already, Great mod!!!

Just downloaded EB 1.0 and found a problem nobody else mentioned apparently...

I'm playing as Carthage and conquer Syracuse. After this, I install a type 4 government, hoping for a client state governor to be spawned and enter the city. However, this does not happen, not even after 10 turns :(

What can be the problem?

Are you sure you activated the campaign script ?

Hmmm

That could be the problem...
I changed the imperial campaign thingie in order to play with BI.exe, but changing scripts doesnt ring a bell :p.
How do I do it?

Could it be the activating script thingie is clicking the "show me how button"?
Will this also change my game to 4 turns a year (since currently I am at 2 turns a year)?

aaah i think i have this problem as well. as far as i can remember i activate the background script..but ocassionally i save after ive taken my turn and am getting attacked, but dont have the time to personally fight the battle. does this mean that i eternally screw up the entire thing?

It could. But you could be lucky too, that nothing important happens in the meantime. I encourage you to brave the danger of losing a battle without saving though.
