Is there any way to make them use their javelins? So far, the AI solely uses the Jinettes in straight forward melee fashion and never as a short range missile troop.

Can we mod the Ai's behaviour on how it uses the Jinettes?

THis is already the case. Mine throw their javilins. You have to get close to see what they are doing.

Sometines they close quarter, other times they throw their javies...

    GAH!

The problem with javies... is their range. By the time you get close enough to throw them, if the enemy even so much as farts in your direction, your unit moves backward, which pre-empts the javie hurl. I have found that the ONLY -- yes, the ***ONLY*** way to throw javies is to do one of the following:

    1. Throw them from higher ground that the rushing enemy unit.

    2. Throw them from behind onto a unit that is already engaged with something else.

    3. Turn skirmishing off and risk letting that spear unit pig-stick your juicy cav.

Otherwise, its no use. They will just skirmish away and never get a shot off if they are being pursued by even the slowest unit.

Javie range should be increased a tad when hurled from a horse... Or reload speed should be increased...

    GAH!
