Most decisive victory?

I attacked the Gauls in Northern Spain with an army of elite Camillan legionnaries. My causalties: 7. Their casualties: 1 000.

Anyone's got anything better?

Probably a very common thing, but in 0.81 I managed to get my Makedonian General unit of 25 people to cause around 350 Pontic casualties, while losing 4 men. (Of course, all my army fought and engaged enemy units while my general charged around. But I think that was the most impressive onslaught I ever achieved with a single unit).

465 Greeks (and not a single Spartan!) under Chremonides versus Antigonos's 3922 Makedonian barbarians. The Makedonians were left with 91 men, the victorious Greeks with 333 war heroes. Antigonos and Chremonides both perished in the battle, the former charging through boiling oil and the latter fighting on the walls of Athens.

Granted, the AI did do a good bit of the traditional

, which killed a good lot their troops, but once I came back from watching South Park they had charged and met their deaths in oil and a relentless hoplite shieldwall (which had been pushed back from the gates across a street during the battle) or on the walls fighting Chremonides.

Almost same thing =) 300 KH (under oldbones Chremonides) vs 2400 Mak (3 generals included) = 150 KH

I'm ain't a military genius, all credits go to one unit of classic Hoplitai and one unit of Hoplitae Haploi defending the gates

AI was successfully pushing me guys from the gates, fortunately me was defending Athens, where the central avenue goes exactly strait from the gates to the central square, that's why me guys were pushed in the corridor without being surrounded and did their worst

KH're overpowered as long as they are guided by me

My Pahlava general, one Harasp a Dahae (sp?), has been fighting the Seleucids since 271. His army is composed of 2 units of Dahae Riders and 4 units of Parthian Horse-Archers. The force has lost twelve soldiers (excluding General's Bodyguard and including mercenaries hired to operate siege equipment and left to garrison towns) . Harasp has taken Ebkatana, Seleucia, Babylon, Antiocheia, Damascus, Zadrakata, Hekatompylos, Apameia, Gabai, Susa, Charax, Arbela, and Edessa. I would conservatively estimate that the number of enemy slain numbers close to 10,000.

The single most decisive tactical victory was Harasp's utter annihilation of an attacking Seleucid host composed of 1x Persian Archers, 1x Eastern Slingers, 3x Medium Phalangites, 1x Caucasian Spearmen, 1x Anatolian Hillmen, 2x Eastern Skirmishers, 1x Medium-Heavy Greek Cavalry (names may not be exact, as I didn't write them down or anything). I believe there were about 7 or 8 casualties + about 5-6 bodyguard casualties. (Roughly 2000:13)

The most decisive strategic victory was won by two of Harasp's brothers in the east. A series of running engagements in the Dayuan valley culminated in the destruction of the main Baktrian army. This removed the last obstacle to overrunning the Baktrians. The final battle was against light infantry and skirmishers (better troops having been picked off previously), so I think the other battle is more tactically decisive.

The glory days ended around 260. Now the Pahlava are learning that administering an empire isn't as easy as toppling one
