    Hmm. It sounds like sound reasoning. Certainly when the Romans did tend to replace an allied territory with its own government overnight there tended to cause lots of issues with the locals. The lifespan of a client king would therefore symbolize a gentle transition from one form to another. Good thinking :)

    I like to role-play the time and money expenditure it as getting involved in the succession and making sure the pro-you guy comes to power.

    I remember in MTW1 you could assasinate your own guys if they were incompetent. I don't think this is possible in RTW or MTW2 but it would of been nice

    Yes, the assassinate own character with the EB system is a beautiful dream, one that has been stated in the past :)
