    Default Type IV Government Flaw

Well first off I would like to say I love the idea of having puppet rulers when you build a type 4 government. However there is a problem with this: Once you have built a type 4 and the puppet ruler has been placed there is no way to get rid of him if you decide to change governments.

Here's what happened to me: I was playing as saba and I took my first town. After that I disbanded a couple of units and I had a little income. Then I decided to build a type 4 government so I could build some infrastructure before switching to a type 1. Well I got the type 4 built, however I did not realise the client ruler was going to be so expensive to maintain. I destroyed the government hoping he would be killed via script but that did not happen. So what I had to do was march him over to the nearest rebel city and kill him that way. So anyways just letting you know so you can make improvements for the next version.

No. he doesn't get destroyed when you destroy a type IV. This is meant to happen. If you put a puppet ruler in place he's not going to be to happy when you take away his kingdom and leave him in the lurch.

Oh ok that makes a lot of sense. I guess I will just have to be careful next time I want to build a type 4

I have what I think is a bug with the "Type IV government".

Let me describe the situation. :)
In my Hayasdan campaign 212 BC or so I finally take Persepolis with my faction leaders army.
I decide to put up a "puppet ruler", and it's not the first one.
But this time this results in my faction leaders peaceful death on the next turn.
This never happened before, and after a few more reloads to investigate it still happens.
At one point the faction leader even marches into the city while being outside, resulting in his "peaceful death" on the next turn.

I'll try to see if I can bring up a savegame. :)

In the meantime I was wondering if anyone else encountered this bug?

Aside from this, it's running absolutely smoothly. :)

"Edit": My workaround for this has currently been to simply go straight for a Type III gov.
And not to cause any confusion my faction leader was only 31 years old or so.

That's what -100% move gets you, I presume...I've had the same issue already too. I wonder if you could give them -99% move and leave it at that....

If I understood correctly that's going to get fixed in a future release.
Besides that, it's like that for everyone. :)
