As a matter of fact I did and I agree that it is a lovely name. Back in the 80's I shared an office with a beautiful young woman named Beata who was born in Poland and whose parents moved to the US when she was young. She was one of the nicest women I've even known. I took great pains to learn from her how to properly pronounce her name - "Beh-ah-tah" as I recall - most of our co-workers just called her "Beta" like the Greek letter.
