Thank you.
Thank you.
Thanx a lot, this is really a great help!
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious, and Brutus is an honorable man
You can get those ethiopian regionals only for Saba? Why they are not recrutable by all factions that conquer Ethiopia?
Mm, I have a request. Is there a version that uses the original ethnic-language names of the units? Quite frankly I've gotten so used to referring to all the units and thinking of them by their real names instead of the English translation that quite frankly I'm lost trying to relate the units I know to the English names in the viewer. Sometimes I don't even know if I'm checking up the right unit. ;-)

Is there a legend for the unit card details in the province data view? The icons below the picture, I mean.
Some are fairly self-explanatory, such as wedge formation, calabrian circle, but a full list would be useful. I did read the manual, but couldn't see anything there.
One balloon for not being Roman
Nope there is none in Recruitment Viewer.
Check \Rome - Total War\EB\documentation\Arka Unit Cards\Card Fronts\Readme.jpg for legend.
Thanks LordBula, that's exactly what I needed to know![]()
I've got to say, this is an excellent resource. I always consult it when planning further conquests. Great work EB people!

For Qarthadast the province Atiqa does not appear as a homeland province in the recruimentviewer, but it does appear as one ingame.
The same goes for Arche Seleukeia and Babylonia.
Those 2 new provinces are shown as "alliances available" for everybody. Only a small issue, but one which is very easy to fix (at least I hope so)
There are quite a few errors like this.
If You can point out such mistakes I will fix them for 1.1 update.
Time is ticking though and I will fix only what You report in this thread.
Thanks MAA for the reply (as always!), and thanks to his Lordship et al for the viewer. Top notch.
The island of Gwamjam Gotanoz is indicated as Latium in the recruitment viewer, while Latium itself is Latium_2. Also, the homeland provinces for the KH are wrong.Originally Posted by LorDBulA
BTW, thanks for this great tool!
Latium and latium 2 is just a trick connected to RTW hardcoded feature.
Could You specify exactly what province are wrong and how ( how they are now and how they should be ).lso, the homeland provinces for the KH are wrong.

Brihentin are apparently available for recruitment in Eburonum as a Gallic faction when they cannot possibly be given the government system.

The same seems to be true for Casse.Originally Posted by pezhetairoi

In these places there are no homeland resources for lvl 5 MIC, however it's ok as these can be recruited in homeland regions such as Camulosadae.
The worse thing is, though no Brihentin for Casse at allas they can only be recruited in Gaul, where it's all expansion and no homeland provinces and for cavalry, I have to make do with Leuce Epos. Why would Brihentin be factional anyway as they are 'Gallic' and Casse are kind of British-Belgian
British? Briton, perhaps, but IIRC the Casse were Gauls that had migrated to Britain just before the start of the game. Belgae were Gauls to, by the way.Originally Posted by Eyes330
um, this is kinda a dumb question, but how come there arent any pezhetairoi in the RV? all i can find is the klerouchi phalangitai(sp?) AFAIK, the klerouchis are different from the pezhetairoi. at least their stats are.
so, why arent they listed?
(btw, i ask this in a very pollite manner)
and btw, the RV is the coolest thing to hit us since 1.0!

Dont worry mate, nobody will bite Your head of.(btw, i ask this in a very pollite manner)
If You cant find specific unit check out Menu View->Unit Details.
There You will have full list of units available. Upon selecting unit name You will get list of factions that can recruit it.
Thanks.and btw, the RV is the coolest thing to hit us since 1.0!
Here's the secret. As Casse, you share Factional Barracks with the mainland Gauls (Aedui/Arverni). Accordingly, if you allow them to build the Level 5 Barracks, then you get to recruit Brihentin from that province after you conquer it. To facilitate this, you might want to intervene in the Gallic Civil War, to ensure that at least one of the two factions develops the economic strength to faciliate building the required levels.Originally Posted by Eyes330
As an explanation for this odd approach, think of the Brihentin as they truly were - mainland Gallic Nobles. To recruit these individuals to your banner, it would help if they knew your Faction was rich and generous, which is exactly the behaviour you would display by getting involved in the Civil War and gifting money and cities to one side.
