In MTW the AI just has such an unfair advantage of cheating. The worst one i think so far is:

Same as in Shogun, AI can respond to your assault on their land by sending reinforcement after your turn. But you can do nothing about it when AI assault one of your region even when u have several thousands troops stand nearby.

Only time u can send reinforcement is when a rebelling happened, then you can send troops to that region and fight on the next turn.

I also don't understand how AI can keep their people happy because "Very High" tax rate is the only one they use.

if they changed it the SP game would become even more of a pushover. other than rebellions that is.

    the real challenge is online

Well, i think a change allow player to send reinforcement is good enough. If take out AI's ability to send reinforcement that could really hurt them.

All the turns are simultaneous, the AI does not see your moves like it did in Shogun. I've seen the AI make very bad guesses about where I was sending my troops. It does not see your moves - I'm pretty sure of this.

Confirming that the AI takes its decisions just the same as you do, based on what it can see at the start of the turn.
