Are you using Makedonia by any chance? This was an issue in .8x and I don't remember anybody saying it had been fixed.

Same campaign I have another one that has "Supervisor" and "Uncomfortable Supervisor" which could make sense at glance but Supervisor gives positive attributes for being a good supervisor and the latter gives negative?

Supervisor means he likes being in charge of large cities. Uncomfortable Supervisor means that is is not in that possition. One doesn't cancel out the other, Uncomfortable Supervisor is just a modifier of Supervisor. There are several trait groups that act like this, such as the Warmonger group. There is a 'father' trait and there can be other ones that describe the current condition of that trait without going over it.
