    Wink bovi? anyone?

What would have happend if I was to let 'free' unit limitation per battle??

    I mean i Preferences.. like:

    UNLIMITED_MEN_ON_BATTLEFIELD:TRUE --??? (false is default)

I know that in some ocassions my second army waited for my first to loose some units (as in vanilla) and then CPU woul add one by one -- that was the case three times when Pyrros besidged my Pela, second army was allways needed - I even had to send my archers to die (after shots) just to get one phalanx more..

    Anyway,
I have Intell C2D 4400 (working on 3200), ASUS EN8800gts320, GEil Ultra 800 - 2gigs, ASUS P5B-e... and 64 bit Win - and let me tell you - that is a definet recomendation for anyone with 64 processor to run EB 1 on Win64 or Vista (do I dont have Vista) - because the fllow of memory is realy better and you dont get 'studs' - I know this because I have Win64 for two days now and some 'fllow probs' with my WinxpSP2 are now over - not to say that my graphics is better now!

This means that no reinforcement will be delayed except you have a fullstack and your reinforcemnt is not AI controlled. I don't know how much units your Pc can handle (you can test this by your own in a costum battle).

as far as i know this enables/disables the arrival of REINFORCEMENT stacks on the battlefield, regardless of your system´s performance capabilities.

per default this is off, that´s why you see "Enemy/Allied Reinforcements Delayed?" event.

if you have a high performance system as yours, set it to TRUE might be reasonable. (given that i´m right)
i would wait for a affirmation of this info from others.

Edit: there it is. but i think this is for any reinforcements (regardles of your fullstack) as long as they are AI controlled (probably they are automatically turned on AI, if your stack is still full)

It's a safety thingy. If "reinforcements are delayed" that's a nice way of saying "terribly sorry, but your system isn't powerful to cope with all the armies right now"; and thus you should leave this setting at "FALSE".
    1) It prevents nasty system errors from occuring (over heating, etc. etc.)
    2) It isn't that a historical if an army did not make it to the battle field on time, now and then - is it? Anyhow it adds to the gameplay.
    3) If your system really is powerful enough you won't notice this setting anyway - regardless of what it's set to.
