    Yes I have Java, and it is in C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War, where the RomeTW.exe is.

    Could you add a line with pause to the end of the batch file and run once more? If there's an error message, it will then be readable before it quits.

    That worked, and I got a long list of missing and added files. IE freaks out if I try to post it all. They are .tga, .tga.dds, .cas, .wav, with a few others.

    Then you have probably not installed it in the right folder. If IE can't handle the list, perhaps Firefox can? Anyway, if you upload it to some hosting service (axifile, rapidshare etc) I can take a look.

    It does seem like I have installed it in the wrong folder, but I know that when I installed EB I copied and pasted the path of my RTW directory in, so it shouldn't be wrong.

    You may have a clean 1.5 RTW, but you don't have a clean EB... You have installed the first cohorts mod, which is not compatible with 1.0 AFAIK. Please try a clean EB install first.

    Ok. I thought I got rid of everything when I uninstalled but I guess not.
