    Default Error loading mount database

I finally had time to install 1.0 yesterday, but I kept getting the same problem. First I reinstalled RTW, applied the 1.3 and 1.5 patches, and then installed EB. Everything seemed to work and the installed finished and it looked like everything was fine, but when I went to play the first EB loading screen came up and I got a message saying "Error loading mount database". Then a message came up saying "Script Error in eb/data/descr_mount.txt, at line 105 column 1. Could not find battle model for mount 'camel'."

I am pretty sure I installed everything in the right locations, and I know that I had a clean RTW 1.5. I tried searching around here but it doesn't look like anyone else is haveing the same problem. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Could you run the validation program and post your results here?

Edit: It seems to have fallen off the first page. Here it is.

I ran the validation program a few times, and each time the ebvalidationresults.txt file popped up and was completely blank.

Are you sure you have java installed? And that you run it from the RTW directory (IE not a folder underneath)?

Yes I have Java, and it is in C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War, where the RomeTW.exe is.

Could you add a line with pause to the end of the batch file and run once more? If there's an error message, it will then be readable before it quits.
