Try opnening the properties screen of the EB shortcut on your desktop (right click it; click properties) and add -nm to the target line. See if that works.

Thanks for the quick reply Tellos. I did what you said and was suprised that it worked until I actually tried to get into a game, then I had a ctd. This is what my target line looked like.
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - EB\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -nm"
Can I ask what "-nm" did and why is stopped the video stuttering?![]()
Well -nm is a short for "no movie"; so you'll guess what that did to the "video stuttering"...
