anyone ever try... Indians?

I moved my Saka to India... it's tough but very fun, restricted to Early Saka nobles, heavy cavalry, and local recruits... including those awesome guild soldiery

basically what i did was give myself a lot of mnai to make a full stack and relocate everybody to Taksashila and take it, another mnai-boost to hire a lot of mercenaries to help me take the rest along with the original steppe horde and then disband it all

its tough cause Baktria is very expansive... but I've been doing ok so far...

wow, everyone's doing migrations. Not for me though. Saka in India is quite okay, you should try migrating across the steppes into Europe like the Huns. Now that'd be interesting :D See how them poor unarmoured Germans and Gauls deal with you.

well I have three campaigns...
Getai, Saka (India), and Sauromatae...

with the Sauromatae i am trying to expand from the Baltic all the way to the Caspian, and down around the Carthpatians, Black Sea, and Caucasus

but I'll try migrations with 'em too.... migrating to wealthier lands... hmm... GAUL! ITALIA! GREECE!

I think it would be interesting to see the Indians modded into the game. It woul dmake for a really interesting game.

Well even though it isn't for EB someone did do an indian faction mod for RTR .

Historically that's JUST what happened. Only in Baktria, there were the Yuehzis prior to being Kushan, and on India, on the top two territories of the map there were one group of Saka, whereas on the Indus river mouth area were the Sakae who came from Sakastana/Arianne

true, but i mean roleplaying being Indians... except as Saka

similar, and yeah I know there's been Indo-greek, Indo-saka, Yuezhi... but its all good

Indo-iranians, Indian spearmen, longbowmen, guild warriors, elephants... and generals... not bad but it can be tough... guild warrior/longbowmen is pretty good but its not the best and the perfect back up for these boys is an elephant but they cost a mutha-load of mnai

Then what about making these units dirt cheap,so Indians can be zergers like they really were?And elephants would be way cheaper for them?Is that possible?INDIAN MOD ANYONE?

i'd download an Indian mod, yessir

i have a sinkin feeling that there can't be anymore factions added... so i guess the modder can take out say the Casse and replace with an 'eastern-style' Indian faction....

would take a lot of work... and would need to represent the border of the Mauryan empire right?
