Textures messed up in battles

Hi,
I encounterred a very strange thing - after some time in battle textures are getting messed up: unit skins, grass, banners, sea.
E.g.:





It is interesting that I did not meet any issues om strategy map.

The artifacts did not depend on video settings (got the same with the lowest values possible). Any ideas?

AMD 64 3200+, 2GB of RAM

can you look at the graphik cards heat? Artifacts can be caused by overheating, which might be the problem.

Update the drivers (if you arent having the latest) might help. do you encaounter the same in RTW or other games?

Thanks, since I am the only EB user with such problems and I have replaced video card recently it must be problems with it.
I was confused because I didn't see any artifacts in neither Oblivion nor NWN2.
