Cronulla isn't bad if you don't mind haning around Racists and the surf isn't too bad. Most of the beaches between those two or around them are pretty good, and a lot less packed.Bah lucky kiwis

I spoke with the Mrs. last night (her morning) and asked her how she was liking the warm weather?
"Warm weather? It's been chucking it down all week!"
Ahh well, it seems that the sun doesn't always shine on the 'Sunshine Coast'.
Made me feel a bit better with having to put up with an English autumn.
She's not looking forwards to the flight back either, it's a bit of a ballbreaker apparently.

I got a message from the airline in Brisbane that the flight was delayed, it would, the messenger said, be landing at Manchester at 5:23.
Yours truly sets the alarm for 4:00 and goes to bed early. Gets up, quick cuppa, then into the car for the drive to the airport. Arriving about 5:30 I park up and go to the arrivals terminal.
I go straight to the boards to find out which gate 'she who must be obeyed' was about to be delivered to.........and no sight of the flight number. I wandered over to the information desk and ask when the flight landed and gave them the number. They look it up.
Oh yes! That flight will be arriving at 17:23, that's right 17:23 not freakin' 5:23.
I really feel like swearing.

IA, I can't believe you didn't remember that everything is opposite south of the equator, so 5:23 for them becomes 17:23 for you.Tsk, tsk.
Seriously, I'd be quite pissed too. I really hate getting up really early in the morning...especially for nothing.
