    I know some

They might involve bending over or kneeling tho

Take Balkenende hostage and ask 1 million and a plane to Australia as ransom, it'll solve two problems. Yours and ours.

Bos might do as well tho, but I think no-one would pay the ransom.

Get two jobs then. Work your butt of. Weird money making schemings will get you nowhere.

Admittedly it is close, but Kukri lives near America's westcoast.

There are a number of people who have hit on a new concept: begging.

I tried to find one of the earliest e-begging sites, where a girl was accepting donations for breast implants, but it seems to have vanished. I guess she got enough scratch for the operation. Here's another round-up.

I remember that one, I think it was called augmentlauren.com, the site does seem to have been removed.

Stranger, if you get a job with a decent wage you might earn enough for a trip to australia in 2 months of fulltime work, possibly less.

    He's 17, most he'll earn an hour is 4 euro's, if he's really lucky.
Next to that he has school and exams, so say he can work for about 12-15 hours a week. He'd make about 50 euro's a week.

Get's you nowhere near Australia, he might make it to my hometown, with a bit of luck.

Well, I know that to fly from Germany(that's close to the Netherlands, where Stranger lives if I'm not mistaken) to Australia/NZ and back costs more than 5000EUR with BA or Lufthansa and I guess most other airlines as well. Visiting Kukri should cost about a fifth or so, if he offers you a bed you can even forget about a hotel.

Of course you can also acquire a paddle boat and travel to Australia using your muscles and a compass, that should be rather cheap, no need to work for long.

Wasn't Adrian II thinking of getting a ship and sailing around the world? Try convincing him to do it and have him give you a ride to Oz. Hot air balloons and tornadoes also seem to be affective modes of transportation.

Get in touch with Jeff Goldblum and ask if he has improved his teleporter since he showed it off in the film "The Fly" in 1986. Chances are he has improved the range in 20 years and you may get a free and instant journey to Oz in return for being a Guinea Fly Pig.

Alternatively, as was mentioned earlier simply get down to the docks, bend over, use lube and relax... apparently it will only hurt the first time. An added bonus of this approach is that it will prepare you for any meetings you may have with Aussie Rugby Union forwards once you are there.

Hmm.....I have a good idea for getting money, but it involves some stealing of highly dangerous radiactive substances followed subsequently with threatening countries with nuclear catastrophe...

    Or

Get a big box, stock it with food/water/toiletres and mail yourself to Australia.

What about hiring on a freighter?

Guess that doesn't really work these days though, too many regulations and stuff.

I believe that is about $3000 of our dollars, which should get you around the country because we have fairly cheap domestic flights. You could sleep in backpackers Hostels to save on accomodation. The big problem will be having enough money to spend on our many touristy things. How long are you planning on staying? If it is a long time I could give you a couple of websites that will help you find temporary jobs in waiting, etc.

You can always make your own boat.
Just chop some trees from the backyard, and sail from the North Sea to Oz.

btw: MY IDEA for now is:!!! Ill steal a key from a supermarketwagon and then while people are not looking ill nick their 50 cents or 1 euro from their wagon... i calculated i'd make more in an hour than if i would work.

But that is theft. You could make more than that an hour by shoplifting, but would you do that as well?
What you COULD do is break into people's houses and steal every damn thing they own, work out the value of what you steal and leave an IOU for that amount. Surely that would be borrowing then?
How about murdering a wealthy family member for their cash. Use that cash to fly to Oz. Once there, claim asylum on the grounds that you would face the death penalty if you were deported. Before you know it, some liberal Australian lobby group will be championing your cause and will start an appeal fund on your behalf. Just sit back and watch the Aussie Dollars roll in... easy street.

To raise funds, try begging - i know, doesn't sound particularly great, but you can make a whole lot of money from begging.

Once at school a friend of mine spent lunchtime (45 minutes) begging in one of the main hallways. He made £27!

£27 from small change in a school of about 1000 people, of which only about 500 passed him.

Now imagine how much you could make in a day on city streets.

Forget begging, does anyone remember the bunny from a few years back? The guy claimed he rescued an adorable little bunny but that he would eat it if he didn't get 200,000 dollars. He showed a bunch of pictures of the rabbit and how adorable it was. He ended up raising the money in less than a year and he got even more from merchandising. So, find some adorable creature and threaten to eat it if you don't get enough money to fly to Oz.

Well the main one I would suggest and the biggest one in Australia as far as I know is:
    http://www.seek.com.au/

So I would suggest starting there. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, just a busy time with school.

As per the Australian Dollar, you picked a bad time

At about 92 US cents, highest its been in over 20 years. Over 40c gain in about 5 years

As for jobs, it depends where you go. Lots of places have short term jobs, especially over the holidays (We are about to start our 8 week holidays in 4-5 weeks)
