Default How to make Equities Consular's recruitable?

    Greetings Everyone,

Hope someone with some editing knowledge of the .txt files can help here.

I believe it was this forum that gave instructions on how to edit one of the .txt files (forgot which one) so that you can make the Equites Consulars (General Unit) recruitable in game. In doing a search I can't seem to find that thread anymore, so I was wondering does anyone happen to know off hand what .txt file it is, and what kind of instructions I need to make the Consulars recruitable?

Reason being, is while I am aware that there are Recruitable generals already in 1.0, it seems, at least for the Romans, it will take an awfully long time to be able to do any kind of recruiting like that, therefore, I believe it was Zaknafien who said he has the Equities Consulars recruitable in his game from the start.

So if anyone knows how to do this, that'd be great as it would help out my character roleplaying expierences a lot! :)..

    thanks,

    MP

I think perhaps you will find it if you search the forum for the correct name. I don't know about Consulars, but Equites is definitely not Equities.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

oops mispelled it by a letter ;).. Anyway, thanks for the correction, that did indeed help and I was able to find the correct thread, however, those instructions were not that clear, so hopefully I'll get a response there.

Therefore, since I've already asked the same question on another thread on this forum, can a moderator please lock this thread.

    thank you,
