Thread: My long dead general left his wife pregnant! Unless..? Hehe. Have a look and laugh.

In Kingdoms, the time scale is .5 years per turn so if the kid was born 10 or 11 turns ago right before the general died, he would now be 5. If you are playing regular, then something is wacky

Like OK said, it's the age mechanics.

1 game turn equals 2 game years

2 game turns equal 1 avatar year

so, 1 avatar year equals 4 game years

Which means a character will age 1 year every 2 times you hit the button

The general died 14 game years ago. So, if the kid is 5 now in avatar years, he was actually alive when the general died because he would have been born 18 or 20 game years ago. Draganos was probably born in 1220 or 1222. Since an avatar ages 1 year every two turns, he is either 5 right now or 5 and a half.

So, while it looks weird, it is quite consistent while looked at in conjunction with how M2TW has the years/turns/age ratio.

Now, I'm assuming that your playing Kingdoms and Kingdoms has the same year/turn/age ratio.
