First open your EDU (export_descr_unit). Find the Augustan legions. Cohors Imperiatoria or some such it should be. Look at the section that say "soldier". This is the model used by the unit to display it on the battlefield.
Now open a second file in your RTW\EB folder. The DMB (desrc_model_battle). Find the model entry for your Augustan Legion. Should be precisely the same as that of the "soldier" entry in the previous file. It's just labeled differently as model.
Now make a backup of the DMB file. Once your done start making changes. First unpack the file you downloaded with the new skins. Copy the relevant skin (Augustan Legion) and rename it to something you can remember. Now place that file here: E:\RTW\EB\Data\models_unit\TEXTURES\roman
That's how it looks on my computer. Now once you've done that change the "texture" entry in the DMB to correspond to the new file you just added. It should look something like: EB\Data\models_unit\TEXTURES\roman\myromanskin
or whatever you have named that file. Save the DMB close the files. Start up EB and try a custom battle with the Romans to see if the new skin is in place. If you did something wrong you'll get a CTD or some weird pixeling issues with the model when you try it.
The UI cards are just as easy to add. Just find the original ones in the EB\Data\UI subfolder. There are two UnitInfo and Units. Once you found the originals back them up and bring in the new ones. Rename those so they are the same as the old ones and just overwrite those when the program asks.
Just do it step by step, following the instructions in the thread and in this post and you should be fine.
