How do I add new handled animal types in E_D_U?
I am afraid you don't, is the simple reply.
Sligtly more complicated: For some strange reason the game will only recognize 1 dog model, no matter what you do, so at the most you can have 2 dogs per faction, as you can have 2 skins per model per faction.
As for pigs IDK really know TBH, but I am pretty sure there must be something wrong with them that stops them being useful from a modding perspective. Prehaps there is no way to stop them catching fire if the game thinks they're pigs?

P.S. How do you put multiple skins on a model for a single faction?
