Was there ever any point at which people didn't ask for eta's? Just wondering

About the time the EB team started.

After the release of R:TW, I doubt there has been any peace.

Yes, for now, we know that Elephants are balanced (to be stronger a bit), we know that siege equipment is going to be addressed (for more pieces of it with lesser costs), that there is work underway that fills some unfinished texts.. and so on.. We dont know will there be some new 'interesting' units or maybe some other balance in any aspect of the game, or is there further workout on AI (formations at least)..

but if they are 'clicking it' - they are making as all very happy!

Do elephants need strengthening? In a recent battle against Carthage my left flank nearly collapsed when the elephants got through my skirmisher barrage, tore a hole in my line (and then ran off, so pretty accurate) which was exploited by the AIs heavy Lybian spears.

It was wonderful. In a tragic-soldiers trampled- kind of way.

Can you be a bit more specific, Zak? Are you referring to the post immediately above?

I saw a different-looking Marian Cohort on the homepage of the EB site. Is it being integrated into the mod?

In my Epirus campaign I was able to use Pyrros' elephants to good use. Aside from letting me batter down gates, more then once I have just had them run through an enemy unit to break it. Plus it's fun to see those little soldiers get tossed.

However whenever they're actually fighting an enemy unit and not just charging, they do seem more fragile then they should.

I remember reading in an old thread that more historical battles are on the way. Perhaps they would be included for EB1.1.
