    Default Crazy: Something went wrong

Was deleting some folders of old pictures. (windows xp) When i right clicked recycle bin and hit empty it did. But it still showed something as being in there. So i tried again.

Huh? Maybe there is a file called WINDOWS in my recycle bin...somehow. I didnt put it there, and it wasnt there before.

Anyone have any ideas what it could have been?

Its gone after a restart, but still...

even so, the fact that it was "WINDOWS" and there was no file in the bin concerned me.

Do you have it set to show hidden files? It was probably just a temp hidden file in one of the folders that would have evaporated anyway.

Yeah, that happened to me before. Recycle bin was empty, but shows as "full". Cleaning didn't resolve this, only after reboot. Don't worry.

    An interesting discussion of this:

Short form: It's not a problem just a quirk of the way the RB functions.
