Thread: What's a RUM file?

    Default What's a RUM file?

I think it has to do with old (RTW) animtions but am not sure .. I cannot find anything on this site.

I've been playing around with adding new Strategic model.MESH figures, to replace CAS ones but when I edit the DESC_MODEL_STRAT.TXT file I get an error message about "cannot find <Mymodel>.RUM ??

    Any help?

If I recall correctly rums are kind of compiled cas files or something. Verci wrote a program to encode them but I think it's irreversible, so it could be used to protect the models from use by other people.
