Unhappy Unit Cards - Missing Directory??

    Hi,

I'm currently tinkering with modding MTW2. I have changed Denmark to 'pagan' religion, and their culture to 'viking' in descr_cultures.txt and updated that in descr_sm_factions and descr_cultures. I've also added some new ancillaries to represent the newfound Danish rebellion against Christendom. This is all working fine with no problems, no crashes or anything bad.

I have pagan priests to spread the pagan word, which have the 'heretic' model on the main map, and have their names changed when hovering over them to 'Pagan Acolyte / Priest / High Priest'. This is just about where I want it, EXCEPT, when I click on the priest, the unit card is still some codger in a pontiff's mitre. I would much prefer having the dirty heretic unit card, as it deftly captures the image of the horrible pagan scourge that I will be bringing down on the HRE.

I've read a heap of tutorials on how to change the unit card for a unit, but all the tutorials refer to the directory /data/ui/(etc). I can even see in my own .txt files references to this directory.

Problem? --- the directory does not seem to exist. I have made hidden files and directories viewable in Windows, but to no avail. The directory simply isn't there - the directories that are there are animations, cursors, fmv, sounds, text, world. Am I missing something?

Can anyone give me a helper on how to implement the heretic card for my pagan priests?

    Cheers,
    Kj

Hmm that is strange. Did you unpack all of the files in the campaign? What campaign are you using, vanilla, modded, kingdoms, etc?

The unit card you want will go to the data/ui/unit_info/<faction>/ directory.

Just vanilla. I haven't unpacked it, that must be the problem. I've trawled through reams of posts complaining about the lack of an unpacker, so I figured it hadn't been released yet. I'll look for a patch or something tonight.

    Thanks,
    Kj
