Amusing note — I dl'd a .dmg file from the manufacturer's web site, which is fine and dandy. However, to install the software properly, you're supposed to burn it to disc first. The burner on the Mac is on the fritz, and I've been to lazy to fix it. So now I have to figure out how to burn a .dmg file on a Windows XP boxen. The only utility available does not work.

I finally worked it out by dragging the .dmg disc image into the Mac's Disc Utility, converting it to Disc Master file type, re-naming the file with the .img convention, and transferring the file to the XP box. We'll see if the app installs correctly after the three-way translation.
