Hi Pharnakes,Instagibbed is permanent ban which hides all of ones posts and their username from others in the public area. As you have seen, it replaces them with the word "Instagibbed". The term comes from FPS (First Person Shooter Games), in which the "Instagib" is a merciless weapon which instantly disintegrates somebody into "gibs" in one shot. "Gibs", btw, are fragments of body parts. As you may expect, in the more graphically rich games of the FPS genre, its not a very pleasant sight to watch.
