    Default Unable to initialize 3d audio

    I get this when i try to start up 1.0, and suggestions? Thanks

    Does vanilla work? Have you tried to install RTW and EB from scratch?

    Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

    Yeah vanilla works, i have patch 1.5, I didn't have any mods on this install, and this was the first time i've downloaded EB 1.0.

    Then it sounds really odd that it would complain about 3d audio. Perhaps there's something in the default EB preferences.txt that is incompatible with your hardware?

    Could you run the installation validation?

    You may want to check the Audio settings in the EB\preferences\preferences.txt file; and compare them to the Vanilla preferences file. Make sure they are exactly the same each time, and see if you caa fiddle with the settings enough to find one that works.

    Am thinking along the lines of the "Miles this and that" setting. Look what your Vanilla setting is, then change the EB setting accordingly see if it helps.
