Thread: Romani problem

    Default Romani problem

While playing the Romani I encountered a very odd thing. When I was in a battle the flag that the units were carying were those of the selucid's. When the Romani are the most expanded i get the message :"Hellenic greatness is...". And then I played the selucids and when I got the message that my faction is the strongest, instead of saying something about Hellenism there were roman soldiers.
It seems that the things that should happen with the Romani happen to the selucids .
I like EB very much and I really want a solutuin for this problem.

You should really try EB version 1.0 instead.

lol, i knew that your bug sounded familiar ;-). This was the first version of EB, released almost two years ago. Since then damn many things have changed.

If you liked 0.72 you will be blowen away by the changes of 1.0

Ok, I did what you guys said. I downloaded v 1.0. When I started the install procescc it said extracting files. At the end when tha bar was filled the process stopped and nothing happened, the EB extracting file process is still there with the bar filled but nothing happens, it doesn't dissapear it just stays there

You probably ran out of space on your system disk (C:). Either clean out some other stuff there or use 7-zip to open the installer and extract all the files into your RTW directory.

I finally did it. EB is cool but it's kinda hard to make money. I mean I player with Romani and Rome's making -1400 and Capua -450. How can I fix this

Disband any superfluous army and build economy buildings like ports and *mines* where possible.

Those numbers have absolutly no meaning. The programm (RTW not EB) "makes" the cities "pay for" the army upkeep according to their size. So, Rome and Capua "pay for" nearly the entire army and make tons of minus while Arpi and Ariminum "pay for" just one skirmish unit and make tons of plus.

Check the financial overview on the faction screem and the details screen of your cities to find out how you are really doing. With the Romans: disband your fleet in the first turn and everything should be fine (for the economy).
