Make sure he has the "Type4Governor 2" thing. He's a client ruler. If he doesn't have that the game may try to read him as a family member but can't since he's not on the family tree.

It is allright.. you should just ignore that message I have them too.. So, the only way you could fix it is to change is to 'kill' the Client ruler..

Because the next message will about some other clienr rulers.. at the start there are 3 ot them in EB.. so you should leave it - because if you make them general - you will have some L IV gov. buildings but without a character... see this thread
