Also a little googlage on Austrian armies in the 17th century turned up this page on Leopold I.

Finished my Leopold I Of Austria Book today! 203 pages plus Maps, and Family Trees!! Impressive for a book published in 1977 I guess!

Yea, in the Wikipedia Article abotu Spanish War of Succesion:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_Spanish_Succession

It Said Austria had a army of 90,000 in 1701 (in the notes). In the War of the Grand Allaices:

it said France had a army of 450,000, but it was a paper figure, and actually only had about 300,000-350,000. England Had about 35,000-44,000 and Dutch had about 37,979 Sometime in the Late 1600's (don't remember the year, saw it on a army link which only had a few armies sizes here and there, mostly in the late 1700's). Check the Notes for some intersting army stuff.

Thank you Lars for the link !!!! I love you !!!!
