O rlly ? It really doesn't look like that in game . It just looks like the llamelar was stack on top of each other all the way down . So it was kinda like 15th century plate armor ?

Bear in mind that lamellar is iron bands sewn onto leather or some other flexible material. The plates might overlap slightly, but they aren't attached to each other. Thus, while your movement might not be perfect, it isn't severely constricted (other than by the fact that you have several pounds of metal wrapped around your arm).
