Thread: Nota Censoria

    Default Nota Censoria

Is there something that causes a family member to aquire this trait? And is it a very bad trait to get?

Yes, as with all traits something is causing them. In this case it's certain other extravagant traits he has got that causes the censor to penalize him.

It should reduce influence somewhat (not all that bad), but it's bugged so it actually gives a bonus to influence. Fixed in the next release.

So it will hinder him getting elected to senior magistries? I have about 3 FMs with this trait, but I'm not sure why they've got it and not some others who probably deserve it more, like extremely rich adulterers who have sold thousands into slavery and have no regard for laws.

It involves random chance; whether the guy catches the eye of the censor or not.

My Marius-equivalent was a great man. A fine example of Roman virtus and masculinity. Unfortunately, he spawned three total tossers who were cowards, nancy-boys, corrupt or all three. Almost as soon as he made censor he gave them each a censor's note. I liked that
