    Exclamation data pack 0 help

My MTW2 disk 1 was just scratched. The PC still reads the disk but whenever I try to install it tells me the data_0.pack is having "cyclic redundancy issues"??? this appears to be the only file having problems. Can somebody either A. tell me how to fix this B. tell me where i can find a replacement file or C. e-mail me a replacement file heledir21@hotmail.com

I tried posting this in the apothecary but there has been no response.

either downloading those illegal yet deliciously tempting torrent files on one of the website or else check your seller for replacement. alternatively. ebay for a cheap replacement.

I certainly don't condone illegally downloading games but that seems to be my only option because I am not gonna spend money to replace one file.

I would recommend downloading an image of the disc, but if you don't want to do that, then
    http://www.metacafe.com/tags/how_to_fix_scratch_cd/
has a lot of methods using toothpaste or other household items to polish out a scratch but I have no idea if any of them actually work.
Just thinking here... if you can't polish the scratch out, maybe some liquid for fixing scratched eyeglasses would work. Or something for fixing scratched car paint that 'works on any color' (fixes the clearcoat). Maybe someone even makes one specifically for CDs. Try at your own risk, maybe scratch up a CDR and test it out first.
