this thread, your PC should be able to run M:TW almost perfectly.

I assume that you're not running Vista as you have DirectX 9 installed. Your system
should run the game but you may need to use the 2x anti aliasing fix to stop CTDs. Older drivers may also be necessary.

shure you cane run medieval total war on your system, i did played MTW VI on my first PC,HP, AMD 64+ 1.5 ,40gig video 4200ti Ge force 128 MB no problems wot so ever. i am not shure about the grafic updates not all of them where good for playing MTW
Might I ask if you have followed the Anti-aliasing 2x fix instuctions. If you can't find the options stated in the instructions, you may need to download Nvidia Forceware drivers from
here or
here.
