    A very powerful poem, along with the phrase 'Lest we forget'

    In the UK it's known as remembrance day. Everyone wears paper poppies like this one:


    The proceeds of the poppies go the British Legion I think.

    Indeedy. A salute to every goodly soldier, alive and dead, to have fought in wars both long gone and in progess - "right" side or wrong. It may not be sweet and fitting, but it's most certainly brave.
