Is there a fix for vista users or something of the sort?

That's got nothing whatsoever to do with Vista. It litteraly informs you what to look for: either hardware or drivers.

I suggest you experiment with drivers first (mind you the latest ones are not neccesarily the best, though; keep in mind they need to be Vista compatible). You should be able to download them from your GFX Card manufacturer's website.

Incidentally did you (automatically) update your drivers? Because if that's the case it's yet another hint you need to revert to older drivers.

I have dual nivida geforce 8800 gtx cards. I was playing the romani campaign for about 8 hours straight (sad i know). Once i got to 220 bc the game just crashes once i click the end turn button. It doesnt even show the Romani icon at the top of the screen to show its my turn. I did not change anything with drivers. This just happened out of the blue. I really dont want start another campaign because i am pretty far into this one in terms of territory and armies.

sounds strange, i guess it has nothing to do with your graphics though if you've been able to run the game before and didn't change drivers.

    have you tried the fixes?

I have tried all fixes and they dont help. This is just really annoying because im going really really good with this campiagn. I have all of iberia and gaul and was starting my attacking on Greece. I dont fell like starting a new campaign just to have this happen again.

    Thanks.

P.S. This saved game is run by EB1.0 and is run at high graphic details.

Well i guess no one has tried my saved game. I have tried every fix that is posted for v1.0 and nothing helps. This constant crashing and corrupting games makes me not even want to start a new campaign for fear of the same bugs. I even tried reinstalling and loading the saved game with fresh installation (with fixes also) and no luck

I did try the savegame, but it wouldn't work on my machine (no CTD - more of a KTM but not of the normal type...strange). Are any of your settlements rioting? Specifically Lilybeo, I've had issues with a Romani CTD because it revolted, even while playing other factions.

If it is rioting, do anything you can to stop it and see if that fixes the issue.

I cant believe it but it works now. I killed a small rebel force next to Emporion and i lifted a seige on Vindobona and disbanded the entire army stack. Of course those were the only two things I DIDINT try lol.
